Luther College senior Jordan Jensen inducted into Lambda Pi Eta

Jordan Jensen, a Luther College senior from Clive, Iowa, was inducted into the Luther chapter of the National Communication Association honor society, Lambda Pi Eta, at a ceremony held Tuesday, April 15, in the Nobel Dining Room on the Luther campus.

Jensen is the daughter of Gary and Marti Jensen of Clive, Iowa. She is majoring in psychology at Luther, and is a 2010 graduate of Valley High School.

Following a dinner, the inductees received a certificate, a Lambda Pi Eta pin and honor cord. Jensen was one of three Luther seniors inducted that evening.

The Luther chapter of Lambda Pi Eta was formed in 1993 to recognize junior and senior communication majors and minors who have achieved a high level of academic excellence. Inductees must have at least a 3.5 all college GPA and a 3.7 GPA in communication courses. Invitations are issued at the beginning of each spring semester.
